In October 2025, coinciding with the overlap of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival (the "Double Festivals"), Runshine New Materials (Foshan) Co., Ltd. first created a warm festive atmosphere for all employees. Then, on October 9th—the first working day after the holidays—it held the regular weekly summary meeting as scheduled. This meeting not only reviewed the work progress before the festivals but also laid out core tasks for the new cycle, helping the team quickly switch from "holiday mode" to "work mode" and injecting strong momentum into the company’s year-end sprint.

Prior to the Double Festivals, Runshine launched a series of initiatives centered on two core goals: "employee experience" and "business continuity." These measures not only allowed employees to feel the company’s warmth but also ensured the smooth operation of business during the holidays.

The Administration Department prepared exclusive "Double Festival gift packages" for each employee, balancing practicality and thoughtfulness. Each package included delicious milk and a shopping card as a token of care, enabling employees to enjoy life’s conveniences during the festivals while feeling the company’s thoughtful regards.

 

Holiday Operations: Ensuring Uninterrupted Business

To prevent business disruptions during the holidays, the company set up a 3-person "holiday on-duty team" in advance. This team covered key business links, ensuring that customer inquiries, emergency responses, and basic business handovers were not affected during the holidays, thus facilitating a smooth transition back to work after the break.

 

 

Embarking on a New Journey After the Holidays – Highlights of the Weekly Summary Meeting on October 9th

 

 

At 9:00 a.m. on October 9th, over 80 Runshine employees gathered in the company’s main conference room (with another 12 off-site colleagues joining remotely via an online meeting platform) for the first weekly summary meeting after the holidays. Chaired by the company’s leader, the meeting focused on the core themes of "regaining focus, uniting efforts, and sprinting toward goals," with a tight rhythm and clear priorities throughout.

 

At the meeting, the chairperson first delivered a mobilization speech to "regain focus and get back to work": "Over the past 8 days, many of you have reunited with your families or enjoyed leisure time. Now, we need to quickly adjust our mindset—let go of the relaxation from the holidays and refocus on work. There are less than 3 months left in this year, and we still have a gap to close to meet our annual targets. Every day from now on is crucial."

 

Beyond mobilization and work requirements, the meeting also briefly reported on the overall work progress before and during the holidays. It recognized the positive performance of various departments in holiday operations, particularly the phased achievements in production and the timely emergency responses from the after-sales team. At the same time, it pointed out existing issues, such as project delays in some departments due to pre-holiday material supply problems and underperformance in customer follow-up. Relevant departments were required to submit problem-solving plans within a specified period after the holidays.

 

The entire meeting lasted 3 hours, with no lengthy reporting sessions. Instead, it focused on "clarifying directions and boosting confidence," ensuring all employees clearly understood the core priorities of post-holiday work and quickly transitioned into an efficient work state.

Though focused on core topics, this post-holiday summary meeting yielded remarkable results:

 

Rapid Mindset Shift: Driven by the meeting’s mobilization and work requirements, most employees dove into work immediately after the meeting. The business team contacted multiple clients the same day to confirm collaboration timelines; production team members checked equipment right after the meeting to prepare for resuming production. This effectively avoided inefficiency caused by the "post-holiday slump."

 

Preliminary Problem Identification: The meeting clarified the main categories of existing issues and set deadlines for resolution, giving each department a clear action direction and eliminating the confusion of "not knowing what to do after the holidays."

 

Morale Boost: The meeting repeatedly emphasized the "importance of teamwork" and recognized everyone’s efforts during the holidays (e.g., "The after-sales team gave up their break to solve customer problems—their hard work and responsibility are commendable"). This made employees feel valued and significantly boosted their work enthusiasm.

 

After the meeting, the Administration Department promptly compiled a Meeting Key Points Memorandum and shared it with all employees via the internal office platform. The memorandum specified the key work priorities, responsible parties, and timelines for each department in the first week after the holidays, facilitating reference and implementation.

 

 

 Looking Ahead: Sprinting Toward Year-End Goals and Building a Shared Future

 

 

At the end of the meeting, the company’s leader outlined the core directions and plans for the upcoming period: "Over the next 3 months, we will focus on three key tasks: First, promote the large-scale production and market promotion of core products, and strive to achieve key sales targets by the end of the year. Second, make every effort to hit this year’s overall business targets, with the business team focusing on securing potential clients in key regions. Third, accelerate the progress of local green manufacturing certification, and relevant departments should cooperate with third-party institutions to complete document submission and on-site audits."

 

The leader also encouraged all employees: "The company’s development over the years has relied on everyone’s hard work and collaboration. While we face challenges now, as long as we unite our efforts and work toward the same goal, we will definitely meet our targets—even exceed them. In the future, the company will also introduce more incentive policies based on everyone’s performance, ensuring that every effort is rewarded."

 

By the evening of October 9th, various departments had already taken action: The production department completed a comprehensive post-holiday equipment inspection and planned to officially launch core production tasks on the first working day after the holidays; the business team finalized schedules for post-holiday client visits, planning to meet with potential clients in key regions; the R&D department accelerated the organization of previous work data to ensure completion of filing within the specified post-holiday period.
